A climate industry partnership to push adoption of a universal standard for carbon removal credits aims to influence more federal investment in the still-nascent technology.

Absolute Climate, a California-based quality assurance provider within the carbon removal industry, has linked up with Evident, a global company that produces sustainability certification for carbon credits, the two companies announced Wednesday.
