Capital One Removes Data on Worker Pay Gap From Annual Report

Capital One has stopped comparing its compensation for men and White workers with that of other employees in the bank’s annual report to investors after touting “100%” pay equity for years.

The bank didn’t report worker pay gap details in its latest 10-K financial filing Thursday despite disclosing them in the report every year since 2022. Capital One Financial Corp. said in its 10-K last year it paid “women 100% of what men are paid” and “racially/ethnically diverse associates in the U.S. 100% of what white associates are paid.” The bank used similar language referring to 100% pay equity in ...
