Canada Goose Executive Says It Isn’t Planning Privatization (1)

The president of Canada Goose Holdings Inc. said the company isn’t working on a deal to go private, sending the shares down in late afternoon trading on Wednesday.

Beth Clymer, who is also the apparel-maker’s chief operating officer, made the comment at the Goldman Sachs annual global retailing conference. “There’s nothing we as a company are working on regarding any kind of take-private or transaction at this point in time,” she said, dismissing initial reports about privatization as “nothing but rumors”.
