California Seizes Woman’s Unauthorized Immigration Law Practice

The business of a California woman accused of practicing immigration law without a license was seized by the state bar association after responding to a complaint that one of her client’s sons was put at risk of having to leave the US for up to 22 years.

Irene Carlota Raygoza of Livermore, Calif.'s business was seized on April 16 by the State Bar of California’s Office of Chief Trial Counsel, the bar association announced Wednesday in a press release.
