A federal judge in California on Wednesday kept in place for now the state’s corporate emissions reporting law after business groups lost their bid to freeze the statute.
Judge Otis D. Wright II of the US District Court for the Central District of California denied a February request from the US Chamber of Commerce and other business groups to block the state’s enforcement of the 2023 law as their lawsuit continues.
