Buffett Deputy Tracy Britt Cool to Depart, Build New Venture

Tracy Britt Cool, one of Warren Buffett’s deputies at Berkshire Hathaway Inc., is striking out on her own.

Britt Cool plans to leave Buffett’s conglomerate and start her own firm, according to Debbie Bosanek, an assistant to Buffett. She’ll leave Pampered Chef, where she was chief executive officer, at the end of March, and resign from the board of Kraft Heinz Co. in the first quarter. Britt Cool will remain on the board of Blue Apron Holdings Inc.
