BP Executive Lin to Leave as New CEO Prepares Overhaul (2)

BP Plc executive William Lin is to leave the energy major as the company undertakes an overhaul of its structure and its senior leadership.

Lin, executive vice president of gas and low carbon and a member of BP’s leadership team, will remain in the office until the third quarter, BP said in a statement. The departure comes after boardroom upheaval at BP last week, in which the firm unexpectedly fired Chairman Albert Manifold.
