BofA’s Karp Takes on Role to Expand Lender’s ESG Business (1)

Bank of America Corp. is putting Wall Street veteran Andrew Karp in charge of the lender’s efforts to boost its market share in the booming market for sustainable finance.

Karp has been named head of global corporate and investment banking environmental, social and governance advisory and financing solutions effective Wednesday, according to an internal memo seen by Bloomberg, the contents of which were confirmed by a Bank of America spokesperson.

He will report to Matthew Koder, president of global corporate and investment banking, and become a member of the bank’s global corporate and investment banking executive committee. Karp joined ...
