Boeing, FAA Staff to Be Interviewed This Week for 737 Max Probe

US transportation safety investigators are in Renton, Washington, this week to interview employees of Boeing Co. and the Federal Aviation Administration in a probe of why a door panel blew off a 737 Max 9 mid-flight in January.

  • Records don’t exist to explain how the plane left Boeing’s factory missing bolts to keep the panel in place, National Transportation Safety Board Chair Jennifer Homendy told the Senate Commerce Committee
