A measure to prevent the SEC from implementing its March climate disclosure regulation cleared a House panel Wednesday along party lines.
The House Financial Services Committee voted 28-22 to send the resolution to the full chamber. The measure would use the Congressional Review Act to stop the Securities and Exchange Commission from implementing its March 6 rules requiring companies to disclose to investors their greenhouse gas emissions and risks from climate change.
