Bic Heirs’ Baroness Mom Opens New Front in Their Legal Battle

Baroness Veronique Bich filed suit Monday over claims that her sons—heirs to the Bic ballpoint pen fortune—had a crony interfere with her dividend distributions to gain leverage for a separate legal battle between the brothers and their mother.

The lawsuit, filed in Delaware, targets the managing director of Grenelle LLC, the pass-through entity through which Veronique holds $40 million worth of shares in Societe Bic SA that she gained in her divorce from the late Bruno Bich. The manager, Antoine Treuille, is allegedly beholden to Gonzalve, Charles, and Guillaume Bich, who together own 1% of the investment vehicle.
