Best Buy warned investors that President Donald Trump’s new tariffs could disrupt its supply chain because the consumer electronics it sells are dependent on rare earth elements from China.
“While we directly import approximately 2% to 3% of our overall assortment, our complex supply chain is heavily reliant on vendor imports from China and Mexico, which we currently estimate make up approximately 55% and 20%, respectively, of the products we purchase,” the consumer electronics retailer said in its 10-K annual report late on Wednesday.
