Barrick Shakes Up Operations, Leadership in a Bid to Right Ship

Barrick Mining Corp. is overhauling its regional operating model in a shakeup that includes a raft of management changes in a bid to improve performance, according to an internal memo seen by Bloomberg.

The Canadian miner will bring its Pueblo Viejo mine in the Dominican Republic into the company’s North American operations while consolidating its Latin American and Asia Pacific operations into one, according to the letter sent to employees on Tuesday by Chief Executive Officer Mark Hill.
