Author of ‘Jack Carr’ Books Wants LLC Nixed Over Co-Credit Claim

An ex-Navy SEAL who authors spy thrillers under the pseudonym “Jack Carr” wants a court to dissolve his partnership with a co-writer who allegedly breached his promise not to seek credit for their work.

George Petersen is a former SEAL sniper and 20-year special operations veteran, according to the dissolution petition he filed in Delaware Chancery Court. The protagonist of the Jack Carr books, “James Reece,” is based on Petersen in “virtually every respect,” sharing his “look, life experiences, personal tastes, preferences, and dislikes,” he claims.
