Executives of major Australian gas companies are facing Senate cross-examination this week as they battle a proposed tax on petroleum exports.
Chevron Australia Pty Ltd., Woodside Energy Group Ltd., Santos Ltd., and other big gas companies will make their cases alongside business groups and Australian Taxation Office officials at hearings starting Tuesday.
