AT&T Prioritizes Workforce ‘Inclusion’ in Report to Shareholders

AT&T Inc. reworked diversity language in its annual report to focus on “inclusion” in its workforce.

The telecommunications giant said in its 10-K annual report filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday that “it is important that our employees feel they are included, valued, and are fully engaged in our success.” This year’s filing omits almost all direct mentions of “diverse” or “diversity,” which appeared several times in the company’s report last year.

AT&T did not immediately provide comment.
