AT&T Hack Estimated to Cost as Much as $90 Million, Report Says

AT&T Inc. could lose $43 million to $90 million as a result of a customer data breach recently disclosed, according to a report by cybersecurity firm X-Analytics Research.

  • Last week, AT&T said hackers stole six months worth of call and text information from nearly all of its cellular customers from May 1, 2022, to Oct. 31 of that year. The Federal Communications Commission said it was investigating the breach, considering risks to national security and public safety
