Asset managers are about to get some eagerly awaited details on a key plank of Europe’s anti-greenwash regulation.
A draft outlining so-called Regulatory Technical Standards will be made available at the end of September or early October, Patrik Karlsson, a senior policy officer at the European Securities and Markets Authority who’s helping finalize the document, told Bloomberg. RTS is intended to provide the industry with a more granular guide to new requirements on how to assess and report on the greenness of a financial product.
