Apple Software Maker Jamf Rises 51% in U.S. Trading Debut (1)

Jamf Holdings Corp., which makes tools for enterprises to manage Apple Inc. devices, climbed 51% in its trading debut after an expanded U.S. initial public offering that raised $468 million.

Shares of Minneapolis-based Jamf, which is owned by private equity firm Vista Equity Partners, rose as much as 96% and closed Wednesday at $39.20 a share, giving the company a market value of $4.56 billion.

Jamf sold 13.5 million shares, with some of its stockholders selling an additional 4.5 million shares for $26 each on Tuesday. The shares had been marketed for $21 to $23 apiece, a range ...
