Another attorney for Antonio Brown has asked to withdraw from representing the former NFL wide receiver in bankruptcy, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
Van Horn Law Group PA attorney Chad Van Horn asked that Brown be given 30 days to obtain new counsel in a motion filed Monday in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.
“The Debtor is subject to certain deadlines and orders of this Court,” Van Horn wrote. “However, the undersigned’s communications about these matters with Debtor have been ineffective.”
A hearing for a judge to consider the request is scheduled for Aug. 28.
