AMC Hearing in APE Conversion Dispute Moved Up to April 25 (2)

The next court hearing in a case challenging efforts by AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc. to convert its APE units into common stock—and sideline retail investors who bailed out the company—is set for April 25.

The teleconference before Vice Chancellor Morgan T. Zurn will begin at 9:15 a.m., according to a case calendar released Friday morning by Delaware’s Chancery Court. The hearing comes as the judge is set to consider a proposed settlement announced in early April that would let AMC move forward with its controversial conversion plan after two months of fast-tracked litigation.
