Amazon investors are calling for the removal of four board directors they say improperly kept shareholder proposals from an annual meeting vote.

Jonathan Rubinstein, Andrew Ng, Patricia Stonesifer, and lead independent director Jamie Gorelick should not win reelection because they unilaterally excluded shareholder proposals and failed to meaningfully engage with proponents, SOC Investment Group, Oxfam America, and three other groups said in a Monday letter to Amazon.com Inc. shareholders. The four contested Amazon directors are all current or former members of the company’s Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.
