Environmental groups lost their federal appeals court bid to revive a suit to stop sheep grazing in the Beaverhead Deerlodge National Forest in southwest Montana.
The US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Friday that the US Forest Service isn’t required to produce a supplemental environmental report on how grazing affects the federal land because the environmental groups didn’t present new, compelling claims since their last suit against the agency in 2015.
