Zenith Energy Sued Over Water Pollution Near Portland Site (1)

Zenith Energy Terminals Holdings LLC is releasing polluted storm water from its construction site in Portland, Ore., without a required permit in violation of the Clean Water Act, conservation groups tell an Oregon federal court.

The company started construction at the Portland Terminal around April 2020, and activities include tree removal, clearing, site grading, and other ground-disturbing activities, the lawsuit says. The company is developing the Portland Renewable Fuel project, according to the complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon.
