Youth Climate Plaintiffs Oppose Federal Efforts to Delay Trial

Attorneys in the US constitutional youth climate suit asked a federal judge on Thursday to deny Biden administration bids to halt what could be a landmark trial in Oregon.

The Justice Department filed two requests on Jan. 18: a petition for writ of mandamus at the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and a motion to freeze the case, Juliana v. US, at the US District Court for the District of Oregon.
