EPA Releases Worker Exposure Limits for Five Risky Solvents (1)

The EPA has released limits on the amount of five solvents workers can inhale and still avoid health risks and plans to issue more, offering insight into restrictions it may propose.

The Environmental Protection Agency already determined all five solvents pose unreasonable health risks if workers or consumers are sufficiently exposed. The agency hasn’t yet proposed rules that are required by Toxic Substances Control Act to reduce those risks.
