Wildlife Service Agrees to Endangered Species Listings Deadlines

The US Fish and Wildlife Service accepted deadlines for it to evaluate two potentially endangered species, settling a lawsuit brought by a pair of environmental groups.

The Center for Biological Diversity and WildEarth Guardians claimed the USFWS failed to publish 12-month findings in response to the nonprofits’ petitions to list the Rio Grande shiner and Clover’s cactus as endangered or threatened, according to a complaint filed in the US District Court for the District of Arizona.
