The White House is looking to “re-energize” its National Ocean Policy Committee to restore and conserve the nation’s coasts, the chair of the White House Council on Environmental Quality said Thursday.
CEQ officials have been talking to their counterparts at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy to identify “where the opportunities are” and “where the priority should be in terms of how we focus our attention,” according to Brenda Mallory, who spoke at a webinar hosted by the League of Conservation Voters.
