White House Unveils Climate Adaptation Portal as Heat Spikes

The Biden administration is unveiling an online climate portal to guide communities in assessing and improving their resilience to more intense storms, droughts and other consequences of climate change.

David Hayes, a special assistant to the president for climate policy, described the web application at an Aspen Institute event, before its live release early Thursday afternoon. The website will feature mapping tools and use data from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
