White House resubmits nomination for FERC General Counsel James Danly to become a commissioner on the energy regulator, according to notice of nominations sent to Senate.

  • Danly was originally nominated last year, but didn’t receive a confirmation vote
  • Danly would serve remainder of former Commissioner Kevin McIntyre’s term that ends June 30, 2023
  • NOTE: Nomination comes after Bernard McNamee said he won’t seek another term when his current one runs out at the end of June
    • That would leave the commission with only 2 out of 5 commissioners, though McNamee has said he will stay on for longer to prevent ...
