President Joe Biden on Friday announced his intent to renominate Richard Glick to serve as a member of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
The current FERC chairman’s five-year term on the commission expires on June 30, though he can serve out the remainder of the year if his renomination is not confirmed.
President Donald Trump nominated him as a member of the commission in 2017, and Biden named him chairman in January 2021. Before joining FERC, Glick was general counsel for Democrats on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
