White House Plans Ways to Improve Public Meetings on Regulations

The White House is exploring ways to make meetings with the public on proposed regulations more useful, a senior administration official said on Tuesday.

The effort is likely to be helpful to groups such as environmental justice organizations that don’t frequently visit the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, but are now being actively encouraged to do so under a recent executive order.
