The federal government’s landlord unveiled on Tuesday a pilot program for low-carbon building materials at its facilities.
The new six-month pilot, which will span 11 locations across the US, advances the General Service Administration’s broad plan to transition the entire federal building portfolio to net zero emissions by 2045, as well as the White House’s ambition to spur markets for advanced materials.
