Western Union Settles Worker’s Covid Vaccine Exemption Suit

A Western Union Co. subsidiary resolved a worker’s accommodation-failure claim related to their termination after refusing to take the Covid-19 vaccination due to their religious affiliation.

The parties reached an undisclosed settlement agreement in March, according to a joint stipulation filed Tuesday. The global payment service and ex-employee Jason Caspersen agreed to voluntarily dismiss the case with prejudice, it said.
