The American Water Works Association on Dec. 13 asked the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit to review the Biden administration’s Lead and Copper Rule Improvements regulation.
The rule, which was finalized in October, requires drinking water systems to replace their lead water pipes, or service lines, within 10 years beginning in 2027.
