Utah to Appeal Ruling Dismissing Challenge to Federal Monuments

The state of Utah and two counties will appeal a Utah federal court ruling tossing out a challenge to President Joe Biden’s ability to create large national monuments on federal land under the Antiquities Act.

Garfield County and Kane County, Utah, and the state filed a notice of appeal to the US Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit Monday.
