US Wind Loses Bid to Halt Interior’s Maryland Project Review (1)

US Wind Inc. on Monday lost its attempt to block the federal government from revoking its previously approved permits while litigation over its Maryland offshore wind project plays out.

The preliminary injunction was denied because the company failed to identify a final agency action ripe for court review, Judge Stephanie A. Gallagher of the US District Court for the District of Maryland said.

“It has pointed to no action that marks the ‘consummation’ of a decision-making process, and because future uncertainties remain,” the judge said.
