US to Host Mining Event in Brazil as Part of Rare Earths Push

The US is arranging a critical minerals event in Brazil next month to deepen ties with a nation that holds some of the world’s largest reserves of rare earths and other metals vital to modern technology and data centers.

The US Embassy and US Chamber of Commerce are helping organize a March 18 event in Sao Paulo, bringing together US agencies with executives from mining companies and rare-earth firms that have Brazilian projects, according to a preliminary agenda seen by Bloomberg.
