More than $20 million in federal dollars is up for grabs to help the US tackle the urgent need for more recycling of solar panel photovoltaics as the nation turns increasingly to solar power, the Energy Department announced Friday.
The funds, to be awarded over three years, would support research, development, and demonstration efforts including commercialization that showcase innovation in recycling and reuse of solar energy materials.
