U.S. Quashes Twin Metals’ Mining Rights in Minnesota

The Biden administration canceled Twin Metals Minnesota LLC’s rights to mine copper, nickel, cobalt and other materials in northeast Minnesota, its latest move to curtail hardrock mineral extraction in the watershed of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.
