U.S. Coal Miner Cloud Peak Faces Delisting From Stock Exchange

The New York Stock Exchange suspended trading of U.S. coal miner Cloud Peak Energy Inc. and said the company is no longer suitable for a listing based on “abnormally low” price levels.

The exchange said in a statement that it will apply to federal regulators to delist the stock after following the proper procedures, including considering any appeal by Cloud Peak of its decision.

Cloud Peak’s bonds will be removed from the NYSE list of traded bonds after the delisting.
