Trump’s Pick to Lead EPA Enforcement Office Confirmed by Senate

The Senate on Thursday confirmed Jeffrey Hall, President Donald Trump’s nominee to lead the EPA’s enforcement division.

The vote for Hall seals up one of the most critical jobs at the Environmental Protection Agency and further rounds out the agency’s political leadership team.

In his new job, Hall will oversee the EPA’s Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assistance, which enforces pollution laws, brings criminal cases to the Department of Justice, and sometimes works with companies to help them follow the rules.
