A Senate panel on Wednesday approved the Trump administration’s pick to lead the EPA’s international and tribal affairs office.
The 10-9 party line vote by the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee moves Usha-Maria Turner’s nomination for the role of assistant administrator to the Senate floor. She joined the Environmental Protection Agency as a senior adviser to the administrator shortly after the second Trump administration took office.
