Trump to Allow Killing of Animals Resembling Imperiled Species

The Trump administration is proposing to ease prohibitions on killing animals that could be mistaken for the imperiled Florida panther and other endangered species, according to a notice published Thursday.

Some of the species protected under the Endangered Species Act could suffer from the proposed rule, but the public will be better off without the regulations and the imperiled species are protected by the states, the US Fish and Wildlife Service said in its notice published in the Federal Register.
