Trump Says Uzbekistan to Invest More Than $100 Billion in US

Uzbekistan will invest more than $100 billion in the US over the next decade, President Donald Trump said.

“Over the next three years, Uzbekistan will be purchasing and investing almost $35 Billion Dollars and, in the next 10 years, over $100 Billion Dollars, in key American Sectors, including Critical Minerals, Aviation, Automotive Parts, Infrastructure, Agriculture, Energy & Chemicals, Information Technology, and others,” Trump said in a social media post.

Trump has sought to boost ties with mineral-rich central Asian nations, and hosted Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the White House Thursday, alongside leaders from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
