Trump Orders Elimination of Electric Vehicle Mandate

US President Donald Trump signs an executive action to eliminate the electric vehicle mandate, according to White House statement.

• To “promote true consumer choice” by removing regulatory barriers to motor vehicle access, and by considering the elimination of subsidies and other government-imposed market distortions that favor EVs over other technologies
