Trump Names EPA Picks for Top Lawyer, Air, Water Offices

The Trump administration nominated a slate of top officials on Tuesday, including Sean Donahue to become the top lawyer at the EPA, according to an agency spokeswoman.

As head of the Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of General Counsel, Donahue will lead a department that delivers legal counsel to policy makers on regulations, guidance documents, legislation, enforcement, and international law.

Donahue is a former special adviser in the EPA administrator’s office and Office of Land and Emergency management. He is currently serving as principal deputy general counsel, having been brought on as part of President Donald Trump’s EPA transition team.
