The Justice Department urged a federal court in Wisconsin to pause an order requiring Enbridge to stop operating its Line 5 pipeline on parts of a tribal reservation.
The Trump administration “has a significant interest” in promoting domestic energy, which is critical for national and economic security, said the statement filed with the US District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin.
