Trident Seafoods Hit With Pollution Suit for Washington Facility

Trident Seafoods Corp., the largest seafood processor in North America, continues to violate pollution discharge standards at a production facility in Anacortes, Wash., according to a lawsuit filed Tuesday.

Waste Action Project alleged the company exceeds levels outlined in its National Pollution Discharge Elimination System permit and waste pretreatment standards by failing to apply all known and reasonable methods of prevention, control, and treatment.
