Tree Clearing for Charleston Development Proceeds Through Appeal

A large development project bordering a national forest in Charleston, South Carolina will proceed while a federal appeals court considers an environmental group’s challenge.

The US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit on Tuesday denied the South Carolina Coastal Conservation League’s bid for an injunction to halt construction on over 9,000 acres.
